MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED WARRANTY
The manufacturer (MANUFACTURER) warrants the generator models listed
herein to be free from defects in material and workmanship if properly
installed, serviced and operated within the rating specified on its nameplate
under normal conditions according to MANUFACTURER instructions. This
warranty extends to the original purchaser (PURCHASER) only.
TWO-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY – LR CONTRACTOR UNITS WITH IDLING
SYSTEMS, DIESEL SERIES, THREE-PHASE SERIES, WELDER GENSETS AND SAFE-GEN
SERIES
The generator sold is warranted to PURCHASER for a period of two (2)
years from the original purchase date in accordance with the DISCLAIMERS
and PERFORMANCE requirements stated below.
ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY – STANDARD-DUTY A, LA AND LR
MODELS (WITHOUT IDLER SYSTEMS), AND LP/NG MODELS
The generator sold is warranted to PURCHASER for a period of
one (1) year from the original purchase date in accordance with the DISCLAIMERS
and PERFORMANCE requirements stated below.
ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY – AB, AR and EC SERIES
The generator sold is warranted to PURCHASER for a period of one (1)
year from the original purchase date in accordance with the DISCLAIMERS
and PERFORMANCE requirements stated below.
TWO-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY – AB30-HYDRO
The generator sold is warranted to PURCHASER for a period of two (2)
years from the original purchase date in accordance with the DISCLAIMERS
and PERFORMANCE requirements stated below.
FIVE-YEAR/ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY – PTO SERIES
The generator sold is warranted to the original purchaser for a period
of five (5) years for parts only and one (1) year for labor only from
the original purchase date in accordance with the DISCLAIMERS and PERFORMANCE
requirements stated below.
DISCLAIMERS
This warranty does not apply to any items which must be repaired or replaced
due to normal wear; which have been subject to misuse, negligence,
or accident; or which have been repaired or altered outside of MANUFACTURER’s
factory unless authorized in writing by MANUFACTURER. MANUFACTURER
makes no warranty with respect to the engine and engine components
not of its manufacture, which are subject to the warranties of their
original manufacturers. Under no circumstances will MANUFACTURER be
liable for any consequential damage or expense of any kind, including
loss of profits, nor for the fitness of the product for any specific
application or purpose. Any implied warranties are limited in duration
to the applicable time period as stated above. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation
may not apply. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation
of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or
exclusion may not apply. This warranty gives PURCHASER specific legal
rights, and PURCHASER may also have other rights which vary from state
to state.
PERFORMANCE
MANUFACTURER’s obligation under this warranty is limited to correcting
without further charge at its factory or authorized service station any
part or parts which shall be returned transportation charges prepaid,
and which upon examination shall disclose to MANUFACTURER’s satisfaction
to have been originally defective. Other than transportation charges,
no charge will be made for such repair, adjustment and replacement. This
remedy is expressly in lieu of all other remedies, and is PURCHASER’s
sole and exclusive remedy hereunder. NO WARRANTY REGISTRATION CARD IS
NECESSARY TO OBTAIN WARRANTY. PURCHASER MUST SAVE THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE
RECEIPT. A PROOF OF PURCHASE DATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN WARRANTY.
